How to Reconstitute Semaglutide
Step-by-step instructions for mixing Semaglutide with bacteriostatic water.
Dilution Reference
Recommended ratio: 0.2mL of bacteriostatic water per 1mg of Semaglutide.
- 3mg vial: Add 0.6mL BAC water (concentration: 5.00mg/mL)
- 5mg vial: Add 1.0mL BAC water (concentration: 5.00mg/mL)
- 10mg vial: Add 2.0mL BAC water (concentration: 5.00mg/mL)
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Gather Supplies: Semaglutide vial, bacteriostatic water, alcohol swabs, insulin syringe.
- Clean Vial Tops: Swab tops of both vials with alcohol. Allow to air dry.
- Draw BAC Water: Draw the appropriate amount per the table above.
- Add Water Slowly: Insert needle at an angle. Let water drip down the inside wall. Do NOT squirt directly onto powder.
- Gently Swirl: Roll vial between palms. Never shake.
- Store Properly: Refrigerate at 2-8°C. Use within 8 weeks. Highly stable after reconstitution.
Storage
Before mixing: Refrigerate at 2-8°C for up to 2 years. Can store at room temperature (up to 30°C) for 28 days if needed.
After mixing: Refrigerate at 2-8°C. Use within 8 weeks. Highly stable after reconstitution.
